Our client has raised this appointment for a dynamic, emotionally mature, multi level communicator. Negotiation with significant global accounts must be in your bank of achievements.

 

The role

  • With your developed knowledge of the European territory you will lead this centralised account from Western Europe. Responsibilities include:
  • Building a robust and lasting relationship with the customer on all communication levels
  • Lead negotiations from the front with an intelligent and multi-faceted approach
  • Identify and develop market share expansion opportunities and new business possibilities within the account and share with the executive team
  • Determine the strategic approach to the account including teams, innovation, R&D with some brand focusing in alignment with the customer’s expectations
  • Responsibility for the overall profitability of the account, monitoring Quality, Supply Chain,
  • Sales and Service which will ultimately be your key performance indicators
  • Ensure a timely and strategic approach to customer questions and product and market developments, utilising a lateral and resourceful approach.

 

The requirements

  • Ability to influence others with highly developed negotiation skill
  • 10 years plus in complex key account management on multi-territory scale
  • Must have had significant P&L responsibility – several million
  • Fluent English with other European languages advantageous
  • Degree qualified preferably with MBA in relevant discipline
  • Forecasting, large scale budget management, pricing and account profitability analysis skills
  • You must be geographically mobile within Europe and willing to relocate to the head office.

The role

Our client has made marked improvements in the management of quality over the last decade. The Group needs now to adapt to a more complex and competitive market as well as high expectations from the customers. To ensure that quality is in the DNA of the group, and identified as part of our value proposition from our customers, the Group wishes to integrate a Quality Director – able to bring a new vision, culture, methodology and management of quality.

  • Build the vision and roadmap to deploy a best in class quality system, quality management and quality culture in the Group.
  • Deploy different approaches depending on the product, market and customers and ensure the understanding, engagement and commitment of the business leaders.
  • Build or improve the “quality house” : KPIs, training, key initiatives
  • Deploy and manage the internal audits program.
  • Define the quality system for the Group and guide operational units to ensure the compliance vs. ISO or customer referential.
  • Anticipate the evolution of the requirements from the customers and build action plans.
  • Give confidence to the customers in the action plans deployed by The Group.
  • Represent The Group with main customers.
  • Ensure with the purchasing department the deployment of an accurate management system of the suppliers and build key partnerships.
  • Deploy appropriate methodologies to integrate quality in the product development.

 

The requirements

  • At least 15 years experience in a manufacturing environment, in quality and/or other operational positions
  • Multi site responsibilities on quality
  • Coming from an environment with a high level of expectations on quality, exposed to powerful customers with high standards
  • Ability to deploy a vision and an operating agenda to achieve this vision
  • Ability to operate in a matrix environment, using different levers of communication, influence, leadership
  • Ability to structure, organize and deploy complex systems in a large and international environment
  • High composure and energy
  • Fluent in English, French and Spanish would be a plus

The role

Ensure a 0 accident achievement

  • Manage the EHS and mobilize the team on this theme.
  • Ensure the deployment of the appropriate tools and systems

Develop the business

  • Guarantees the development of the business with sales by understanding customers’ explicit or implicit needs to build the appropriate offer with sales team
  • Build the reputation of the plant on the market by an effective communication, strong improvement plans, an appropriate crisis management and an improvement of quality and SC indicators

Define the strategy, translate it in operating agenda and ensure the execution

  • Build the strategy for the plant
  • Decline the strategy in a comprehensive operating agenda
  • Ensure the deployment of this operating agenda and take all necessary measures to achieve achievement of the financial performance (Sales, EBITDA, and cash).

Increase the efficiency of the operations

  • Guarantees the increase of the operational result of the plant by improving the efficiency of the existing equipments, increasing the output, CI transformation and cost reduction initiatives
  • Guarantees the implementation of a sustainable improvement of the quality results

Manage, Engage and Develop People

  • Drive the management committee of the plant and set-up management routines and process to ensure the achievement of the goals.
  • Build, develop and manage his leadership team to ensure a strong engagement of the team and a dynamic succession planning.
  • Impulse the HR strategy in term of resources planning, people development, recruitment, people mobilization, to tackle the present and future business challenges.

Contribute to the Business Unit success

  • As a member of the business unit management committee, contributes to the strategy of the Cluster and bring support to other plants if needed…)

 

The requirements

  • Technical school/Engineering School
  • Strong knowledge of the manufacturing environment (20+) with significant experience in plant management
  • Background in a fast moving environment , in plastic industry or mechanical industry
  • Experience in a multinational company with high matricidal organization
  • High level of culture on CI and quality
  • Understand customers’ needs. Demonstrate a good understanding of the market.
  • Strong ability to manage both operational results on monthly base and build and deploy the main projects for the plant
  • Agility in finance.
  • Ability to build the team, engage people.
  • Ability to manage in a matrix environment and to manage interactions with the Group and support functions.
  • Change agent to introduce change in response to the economic situation
  • Strong leadership to implement policies, rules and ensure discipline in execution
  • French or perfectly French speaking
  • Good level of English
